"Garden of Liberty" is the 39th in a series of annual medals commissioned by Brookgreen Gardens.  The front side commemorates the heroic 1776 battle of Sullivan's Island, SC and the reverse pays homage to Archer and Anna Hyatt Huntington, founders of Brookgreen Gardens.  The 2011 medal joins a prestigious series in the permanent collections of the Smithsonian and British Museums and the National Sculpture and American Numismatic Societies.
